Your initial consultation begins with completing new patient and consent forms, followed by an in-depth discussion about your health history. Dr William will conduct a thorough examination including orthopedic testing, neurological assessment, muscle testing, postural evaluation, and specific chiropractic analysis. This comprehensive approach helps identify the root causes of your concerns, not just the symptoms. If needed, Dr William may refer you for X-rays at a nearby facility (covered by Medicare) before proceeding with your first adjustment.
Your First Treatment Experience
In most cases, you’ll receive your first adjustment during your initial consultation. Dr William takes time to explain the process, ensuring you’re comfortable and informed before beginning treatment. The adjustment itself is typically gentle, with Dr William using techniques best suited to your condition and comfort level. After your adjustment, you’ll often take a short walk to assess your immediate response to treatment, followed by a discussion about your recommended care plan moving forward.
Bringing Your Health Information
To make the most of your first visit, please bring any relevant health information with you. This might include:
- Previous X-rays or imaging results
- Blood test results if relevant to your condition
- Records of medications or supplements you’re currently taking
- Notes about when your symptoms occur or what relieves them
- Health fund details if you plan to claim through your provider
Our Investment in Your Health
At Beyond Wellness Chiropractic, we believe in transparent pricing for our premium services. Your initial consultation is $158 (or $138 for concession holders), reflecting the comprehensive nature of this detailed assessment and treatment. Standard adjustments are $79 (or $69 for concession holders) for approximately 15-minute sessions, though Dr William will spend additional time when needed. While we don’t currently offer direct health fund claiming through HICAPS, we provide detailed receipts for you to process your own claims.
